At NOX™, our story begins simply: a team of French engineers and alternative musicians, united by a clear conviction: technology must serve emotion. Founded in Lille in 2021, our mission is to improve the listening experience through demanding design and responsible practices. Deeper bass makes music more accurate, more natural, and closer to the listener.
Birth of our speakers
- The NOX-160 did not come about by chance. Before the first version, we explored many unreleased prototypes — very different formats, various material choices, and still imperfect repairability. These trials laid the groundwork for the NOX-160.
- Your usage feedback allowed us to refine every detail to give birth to the NOX-160 V2: even more durable, more powerful, with a sleeker design.
- In this continuity, the NOX-160 V3 becomes its culmination: we have preserved its DNA while rethinking the entire user experience, in order to offer remarkably intuitive and fully repairable equipment. It embodies four years of development, attentive listening, field tests, and shared expertise.
